SpaceX Launching TAI's GFTS® and CuTS® Thermal Strap Products Today on the GRACE-FO Satellite

GRACE-FO Prepared for Launch

TAI is happy to announce that SpaceX is launching NASA's GRACE-FO satellite into orbit today, at 12:47 PST.

The TAI team provided both Copper (Cabling) Thermal Straps (CuTS®), and Graphite Fiber Thermal Straps (GFTS®), in two separate programs in late 2015 and mid-2016, with Airbus Defence and Space.

GRACE-FO Mission:

GRACE Follow-On (GRACE-FO) is continuing GRACE’s legacy of tracking Earth’s water movement across the planet. Monitoring changes in ice sheets and glaciers, underground water storage, the amount of water in large lakes and rivers, and changes in sea level provides a unique view of Earth’s climate and has far-reaching benefits for its people.

TAI is proud to be a supplier to NASA JPL and Airbus on this important mission! Many thanks to our wonderful Technicians, Engineers, and Administrative Staff that all contributed to this program!
