TAI is now happy to offer optional Al 6061 end fittings for all of our custom and standard model Copper Thermal Strap (CuTS®) products. This new customization offering is in response to customer demand, and a thermal strap program completed earlier this month.

Aluminum end fittings are 70% lighter than their OFHC cu counterparts, have a negligible impact on thermal performance, and are preferred under certain circumstances depending on the interface material(s) and other factors.

Aluminum fittings are just one new customization option available in our 2019 CuTS® Catalog (being released shortly), in addition to several other new options/services (and we're nearly doubling the number of models in our standard line).
