On behalf of the TAI team, I am thrilled to announce another first for our company, and the thermal strap industry as a whole: Electroless Nickel-Plated Al-Cu Hybrid CuTS® Products
The TAI team is proud to announce we are delivering several custom Copper (Cabled) Thermal Straps (CuTS®) this week to the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research, for ESA's JUpiter ICy moons Explorer (JUICE) spacecraft, planned for launch in 2022 and arrival at Jupiter in 2029.
I thought I would share some pictures from one of our Graphite Fiber Thermal Strap (GFTS®) orders that are shipping out today (this is a record year for our GFTS® product line, and even with the success of our X-Series® PGS and Graphene Thermal Straps / Links line, we are continuing to see growth in our GFTS® sales and programs, and are adding to new customers this year from Spain, to Italy, the United States, Germany, and more).

TAI Delivers GFTS & CuTS to MIT Lincoln Lab for Thermal Strap Evaluation Program; CuFS and X-Series Straps Headed Out Next...
...It sure has been busy at TAI this year--and only getting busier as we approach 2019. In another first, MIT Lincoln Laboratory procured sets of our standard P5-506 and G5-502 Copper and Graphite Fiber Thermal Straps (CuTS® & GFTS®), for an evaluation program to determine the best strap types for future spaceflight programs.
I am happy to announce that TAI recently delivered several spaceflight model (FM) Graphite Fiber Thermal Straps (GFTS®) to Italy's National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN), to be incorporated on instruments destined for NASA's Imaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer (IXPE) mission, scheduled for launch in 2021.
